Application Procedure
1 Deadline
The application deadline is February 7th. Application and documents (See application package ) should be sent to SciTech email: scitech@technion.ac.il.
2 Acceptance Notification
In light of the situation and the guidelines regarding the COVID-19 Corona virus, we hope to be able to give answers by mid-April.
3 Tuition Fees
Tuition fees are to be paid before May 1st. Payment details here.
4 Flight arrangements
A SciTech staff member will be in the Arrivals Hall of the Tel Aviv International Airport (TLV) with a “SciTech” sign and will meet all arriving participants on 11.07.22 please plan your flight so you will land in TLV airport between 5:00 A.M. to 13:00.
Your departure flight should be on August 4, during the morning.
If you have family or friends in Israel, you are welcome to meet them before or after the camp.
No visitors are allowed during all time throughout the camp, there are no “free weekends”.
5 A Few Weeks Before the Program
Prior to the start of the program, a Participant Guide packet will be e-mailed to each participant providing necessary information on the program.
6 Announcement of Projects
E-mail with the assigned research project will be sent to each participant a week prior to the program’s start. Each project includes a description and several questions on an attached academic paper. Transition between projects is an option only in very rare and specific cases, there will not be an option for specific project request!
Participants coming from abroad
Must have a valid passport and a visa for Israel.
Medical Insurance
All participants coming from abroad must have full medical insurance for the program, including all organized activities (trips and visits).
SCITECH AND THE TECHNION WILL NOT BE RESPONSIBLE FOR A PARTICIPANT BEFORE OR AFTER THE SUMMER RESEARCH PROGRAM, NOR FOR PARTICIPANTS WHO LEAVE THEIR GROUP OR ARE ABSENT FROM CAMPUS OR THE PROGRAM.
A very basic insurance policy will be given to all participants coming from abroad. It will only cover them during the program (from its beginning to its end). you need to insure your Journey to and from Israel.
